I do have an original Chuperosa HLG!
The Sukhoi was foresaken to make the "Twig" - but it can slope too!
I've been trying to draw a sailplane that weighs sub 1.5oz. with this gear -
but and challenged by the wing design.

It wouldn't need to be DLG'd, keep in mind we had a lot of fun just tossing
the HLG's...and the fact that I and others have hand tossed Super AVA's,
Sharons and Pike Perfects to sky outs.
Pretty cool and fun projects!
Now about that Sukoi...how about bringing it out to the slope some day?

Since Gordy wants something RC to post - how about something different?
So a new technology bit is available:

Yes, that's a 4g RX with 2 servos! It comes with many of Horizon's new
micro planes. It came with my micro Sukhoi and once I got tired of it I
reused it in a micro Slow Stick as a proof of concept/winter project:

She is overbuilt, I could get her down to 20g, but she flies great at 28g.
With a new approach you could get a .5m sailplane down to maybe 28g and
definitely 42g with this gear. At that super low wingloading (do the math)
it could thermal off the proverbial "gnat fart" and maybe could withstand
DLG launches since there is so little mass to be torqued.
Just a thought. At least it's RC related.
