I didn't realize you had bought a standard poodle. I could have sworn you had gotten that poodle with a hemi and power windows :-).

Well I took my time with it, and we'll see where this ends. The TSA Customer Service Mgr at Louisville Airport confirmed again that the damage likely happened during the repack at the inspection and confirmed that she has recommended payment in the "incident report".
I down loaded the form, there is no way you could use it to actually answer the questions, as there is not enough room,(unless you have mastered witting in Micro-Fiche). So you simply have to mark in the boxes "see attachment pages" and do the answers on separate papers.
I included a photo of both damages to the tip and wing skin.
A photo of the padded plane bag inside the bottom half of the Sportube and the top half sitting next to it.
A photo of me holding the plane before it shipped.
An invoice from HKM for a replacement wing, with note about original purchase price.
And the Form's with attachments.
A picture of my new standard poodle.
I'll keep you posted on the results, shipped Priority Mail, with Delivery Confirmation so that I can keep track of the date I shipped it and to confirm it got to where it needed to go.
