[LASS Soaring] LASS contests

Hello - One of the comments concerning the contests was this.  "It was never ever considered 2 channel...by the way.  That was a lazy title that some used to describe the series.  Fly what you brung was actually the original 'rule'"
>From the February 2009 Archive it is written:
"Two channel Contest Next Sunday, March 1st"  A proposed format is also in that write up.
>From the March 2009 Archive it is written:
"Fly what you brought, 2 channel contest."
Since Day One the on line LASS newsletter has used the "lazy title" and called it " 2 channel".
I am looking for comments, not criticisms on the contests we can discuss at our meetings.
