[LASS Soaring] LASS 2 channel contests

PS, it was never ever considered 2 channel....by the way. That was a lazy  
title that some used to describe the series. Fly what you brung was actually 
the  original 'rule'.

Two meter (78.5") or fewer  spans
Rudder and elevator  only
No zoom launches
Sailplanes using other functions must be disabled

1.5 meter or fewer  spans
Equal length high starts.  A fish scale  is used to establish equal launch 
points.
Man on  Man format
5 minute  max duration, not precision duration.  No landing  tapes.
4 pilots to a  group
Last to land  gets 4 pts, next to last gets 3 pts,    etc.
Pilots are  mixed for each round.
I believe these club contests are designed to be fun  for all flying.  
What are your thoughts?
