[LASS Soaring] J3 Kitten should be lifting off this weekend

Hi- primer then paint (prolly getting to be too cold to paint). Neat airplane- should fly nicely.

She's about done as she's going to get for now.

The cowl had been painted a weird bright yellow, I tried to paint it Cub Yellow to match the rest of the plane but the paint (top Flight Lustercote) was really lousy, very thin and orange peeled, so just going to scrub it some and paint it black for now...if I have time.
 
Saturday looks perfect, low winds etc.
 
Sunday looks like the slope!
