[LASS Soaring] "Louisville Woodsmen...again!" Gateway DLG ....and the winner is!!!!!

None other than IHDLG Champion and Louisville Area Soaring Society's Bruce  
Davidson!
I supp;ose its a matter of time before Louisville Pilots are banned from  
attending contests abroad because we tend to haul off all the wood :-)
 
Bruce....
Returning from a DLG competition is Germany with 120+ pilots flying 22  
rounds,  Bruce got home,  got in his car and drove to St Louis to  support and 
compete in the Gateway DLG comp.
 
Dead tired and facing excellent pilots in Chris and Michael..and  others 
(yipes those guys are all around great sticks!), he manage to get  one round 
more than the rest.
 
I kept talking to him to keep him from falling  asleep on his way  back, 
(okay he was too pumped to fall asleep :-)
 
He had nothing but great things to say about the contest and how it was run 
 and the high level of skill shown by a bunch of the pilots attending.

Congrats to Chris for taking 2nd and Michael from 3rd place!
 
Likely well see a report in the next day or so.
