Its Dion's game but here's the basics...its about having contests often.
Removed from it is the gimmicks of computer radios and multifunction
airframes.
Its about opportunity! To see just where your personal soaring development
and skills are.

You and the sailplane you rode in on :-).

Ava, Genital Lady or Foamy Radian, Foamy Cularis....what ever you got.
Rudder and Elevator..heck aileron and elevator....vtail or elevon....fixed stab
or full flying. Two functions, pitch and yaw or pitch and roll, but no
landing functions.

Skegs are welcome but not mandatory.

Pre stretched high starts to an approximate amount of length and force
(within a few millionths of what ever kind of force and length calculation
someone has time to calculate while attempting a landing in a 50mph wind! :-)
About equal.

Three rounds, call up determined by names out of a hat (sort of like Harry
Potter). Quick load, you follow the guy who was called in front of you for
all the rounds. So if Ben was called after me, he'd be right on my 6 as I
walked up to the line. The only delay in launches is the time it takes your
timer to shag a chute. Strong high starts so even big models have a good start.

5min, 7min,5min with a measured tape landing. one point per second, landing
points added to the total seconds of time.

Simple, and competitive, but a great chance to see where your thumbs can
take you. Also a chance to see how model set up can help or hurt. A straight,
balanced sailplane can add a few seconds on the clock and it only takes one
second to make your score higher.

This cold weekend Sunday will be the 'test' for the upcoming series. I'll
be donating a MPX Easy Glider with servos and will be hunting for more prizes
for the top 3 points leaders at the end of the season. I'll likely miss some
but one way to win a series is to attend all the contests....its total
points at the end of the season that will take the prizes...not 'wins'. So a
middle of the pack, every contest, score can win the series.

This is about us using the few moments we have left on this earth to put in
as many minutes of flight time possible for fun, prizes and a tool to sharpen
our PILOTING skills....not contest winning skills.

Two channels makes it between you and the clock...not you and someone's
check book. :-).

So how will your Genital Lady beat an AVA? Be a better pilot than the guy
with the AVA. The Genital Lady pilot doesn't have to fly longer or get more
points than the max.....he has just pilot his model to one more point than the
guy with the super ship ;-).

Its not gonna be balmy, but it will be there. Looks like some wind so
probably won't be making times, and landings should produce some giggles,
but....we all get to fly the same air. If its all one minute maxes, and not much
landing points...some one is going to have the highest scores :-).
