[LASS Soaring] Okay guys, time to say hurrah for past LSF VP, Bob Summers! 8 hours today!

Bob is 71 years young.  He started his LSF journey back in the early  70's. 
Only needs his contest wins to finish up the game, and if guys like Mike  
Lacowski would use their talents to help LSF5 win aspirants with Nostalgia  
instead of trying to crush these guys.... wink.
 
But I digress as I did today with 11mins left.
 
Bob is a past LSF VP!

Currently a member of the Toledo Weak Signals,  he drove down by himself 
yesterday to give this a go.
 
After some set up issues this morning we got him in the air....and he got  
it. He'd tried once before but only got 7:30 ish.  Today he used his AVA  
with 4 C size Copper tops under the wing like ballast, and he did great.
 
His eyes aren't what the used to be and his body was killing him most of  
the day, but in the end, he did it and brought her in for a safe landing  too.

Congrats and thanks Bob for coming to share the day with me and to be a  
witness too.
 
By the way, his 8 hour task sheet is signed by ... our own LEE!  How  many 
of you have signed the witness sheet for an 8....at age 13? :)
